Roy Vruggink – Osteopath

Roy Vruggink is an osteopath (D.O.-MRO) and has been working as a physiotherapist since 2013. At Amsterdam Osteo, he treats a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints, with a particular focus on sports osteopathy, jaw-related disorders, post-traumatic complaints, and chronic orthopaedic conditions.

With his background in both physiotherapy and osteopathy, Roy looks beyond the site of pain. He focuses on identifying the underlying cause of complaints, ensuring that treatment is not only symptom-oriented but also contributes to long-term, sustainable recovery.

In daily practice, he frequently sees patients with sports injuries, neck and back pain, jaw complaints, overload-related issues, and persistent pain conditions. His approach is personal and thorough: he takes the time to listen, performs a comprehensive assessment, and provides treatment tailored to the individual behind the complaint.

Roy’s decision to specialise in osteopathy was a deliberate step towards greater depth, more attention, and a more holistic approach. This often results in more targeted treatment and faster outcomes with fewer consultations.
